VFK - pay to play?

i am a member of another VFK
fan site&i just read a thread that
i almost didn't believe, until i
saw a picture proving their point.
they said that they were in a room
when VFK_Finley walked in&announced
that after VFK ends its beta stage,
it will become a pay to play game.
need more proof?

I think the staff needs a little more information.

The staff that i talked to, said it will never be a pay to play game.

i'm hoping that this

That's really weird. I've never heard of a staff saying that, I've only heard that it will never be pay to play, always free! thats really weird, and hopefully VFK_Finley just had a misunderstanding, I'm sure it is because even before beta started on the homepage there was something about VFK never being pay-to-play. I guess we'll find out soon....

EXTREME NEWS!

I was just in the garden talking to vfk groovy about this pay-to-play thing. She said that everything we have right now will remain free, but they might have some things pay to play. They will talk more about it on the homepage she said, but she also said that we probably don't have anything to worry about, that the game will probably remain totally free. Me and a couple other players said we would be very angry if it was pay-to-play, because if it is like club penguin that would make us mad because club penguin is only good if you pay. I hope we don't have anything to worry about, but I'm still not very happy because they said before the game even opened, that this would be a FREE site.

I hope the pay to play things aren't extremely rare.Some kids like me won't be able to pay and I'm almost positive that most kid's parent's won't want to pay for some virtual item 0_o.

I talked to VFK Butterfly beforehand about this, and she also said that while most of the game will remain free, some features may become pay to play in the future. I can't afford to pay, but I'm fine with the basic game so long as I'm allowed to chat with friends and whatnot.
Keep in mind, VFK is not sponsered by a huge corporation such as Disney, and they have to make their money somewhere to pay fees.

I understand that they need to make money, I just don't understand why before vfk even opened for beta they said vfk will be absolutely FREE.

Actually, they did: they hid it in the terms of service (yup, I actually read those things!)
Here it is: " Registration as a Member of the Service for free. This service includes the chat and instant messaging features in the VitualFamilyKingdom.com environment. There are enhanced Services which are available which require confirmation of age and identity and this requires that you become a subscriber and pay any related fees"
